Here are a couple recent pieces I need to update my site with. Since the site was developed in PHP, I have limited knowledge how to drop things in various pages besides code, always feel like i’m going to screw it up. But yeah, these will be in the main sometime soon once i get the courage to dump them as well as a few other updates in apparel, illustration and print.
First and foremost, I DO NOT CARE about your political position on this piece; that is what I am not seeking.
Last night I got contacted via a firm who i doing various pieces for the Obama Campaign. It is quite the honor to be in the list, and obviously I want to create a strong piece so i can hold my own with the other designers, as well as a strong piece that is fitting. This is my first rough pass at this and it just doesn’t feel right. Maybe it’s missing a skull (joke), but I want to make sure I do a good job on this, and know i can reach that, however, I am open to thoughts, suggestions, etc. For those who know my work, and know my style, I am interested in hearing your thoughts. There is something that just feels out of place, and i can’t put my finger on it. Granted, once it’s colored up, it will look better, but my desire is to also get a strong black and white before i move into the coloring. So please, let me know your thoughts.
After seeing the Lucas stuff, it reminded me of the few pieces I did for Transformers through Hasbro. I was stoked on the treatment I did for their Icons. It was a very enjoyable project through them.
Yesterday I had to stop at Target and pick up a gift and a few other things when I discovered, by accident some artwork I did for Lucas Films and Clone Wars. What was far more exciting was, and even if they were just small stickers, the fact they were illustrations of Grevious and Trooper Helmet. When I got home, I did a little google search and found a few more pieces out there. They are not revolutionary pieces by far, but still a nice fact that they were being used and under the Lucas Films umbrella.
On a second note, found out 5 of the 6 pieces submitted for a new line for Target are going into testing. Once the testing starts with their stores, I’ll post images. I’m guessing 3-4 pieces should successfully make the cut, but over all, exciting. The pieces will include a bio about me on the hangtag and logo on the front of the shirt.

Just noticed some updates on DCMA and Dragon. Here are the recent pieces Hydro74 was directly involved in. Dragon had a ton of new stuff supplied by Hydro74 and freelancers for Hydro74. Quite exciting to see this up now. Also was on the Nike website spying some new kicks when I noticed a logo I assisted with up there for 7on. Thanks J.Murphy! Heard the event was amazing, and still waiting for Nike to release the laser etched PS3 over to me.
Right now Chris Parks and I are planning a event in November in Tampa Florida. It’s going to be a Tshirt show featuring art of various artist that we’ll screen up on shirts for people attending. We are looking for Artist and Companies who might be interested in getting involved. We’ll have formal details once we sort thought the planning stages. The Smashing Pumpkins Poster is now up at Legacy of Defeat. Iron Forge Press did a fantastic job on them, and they are selling them for $40, however, for a short time, I’ll sell my for $30 and they are signed.
