Yesterday (Saturday) I went to a tattoo convention with my friend Chris Parks from Pale Horse Studios. I found out a few days before that B.J. Betts was going to be there doing work, and since he’s the master of script typography, I was going to see if i could make a appointment. The show was slow and to my surprise, he had a time open pretty quickly, so I had him do a couple pieces for me. This is my first real piece, but have plans to finish my lower arm later on with various iconic thing that represent me and what I do. He did a great job, however, it’s time to get use to it!

Dang Bro, looks sick! I’ve been a fan of his for quite some time. He truly is the master of script. My Girl just got her first ink yesterday and I’m getting more in October. - S

Nice ink. BJ’s a badass. I learned a ton about lettering after picking up his book at a tattoo expo 3 or 4 years ago. I dig the ampersand and the “i”s. Rock that shit loud and proud. Your girls must get a kick out of that.

Nice one. Getting your first tattoo is always an interesting experience.
I’m anxious to make some more progress on my sleeve.

this is beyond badass, my friend. I want a piece in the same spot and also script. I should hire YOU to design it for me!
