2nd Class Moleskin Proof

2ndclass_moleskin.jpg

Today I got a package with a proof of a possible moleskin I wanted to do up. This is a 5.25” x 8.25”. I believe I want to run this one as well as the bear print, but then again, it all depends on cost. What are your thoughts. I’m personally loving getting things engraved…

I would get as much stuff engraved as possible. It will be around longer than anything on fabric or paper. Love the details in this one as well. Is this design going to be on a shirt any time soon?

Well, on the onehand side this motive looks very fine as a cover, as it has more of a emblem than the bear print. It has more of a Logo-feel to it, the bear reminds of a scenery.
I’d crave to hold one of the bearprints in my hands though, as the texture is a very interesting aspect for a moleskine. I’m having mine always with me, so beeing able to feel the cover-picture with my hands would be great for a custom sketchbook - I mean basically, it will spend most of it’s “lifetime” in my pockets or in my hands.

So i’d say i like this one a little better, but I think an engraving would really put the medium in value as a whole.

Looks great. This is the booklet size that I’ve been waiting for. The design has always been rad and like I said before, your artwork is perfect for engraving. I like that your putting different art pieces on each product and not just 1 piece for everything. - S

I’d definitely buy one, up to $30 in value. Problem is, I’d have problems actually using it to sketch in. Kind-of weird having a sketchbook with someone else’s work on the cover. There’s definitely a market for this. It’s too beautiful to ignore.
