Here is the 3.5″ x 5″ Moleskin that was done up. This was done with a chemical wash (i believe). I am going to post these online as well for pre-order and they will be in next week. They are small, but ideal for taking notes and keeping track of things. That was one of the reasons why I wanted to make them. I only ran a small amount since these are mostly gifts for clients (or bribes, depending on how you look at it), but there will be just a few available. If you are interested or want me to hold some out for a later purchase, let me know!

Just got in my sample for some laser-etched sketchbooks that I am having done up. The amount of detail is breath taking. They should be done within a week to week and a half. Super stoked!! I am only running a small amount of them and will be taking pre-orders over at Legacy of Defeat shortly. The cost will be $50 per book. Also, I will have a sample in hand of a moleskin that is being done of a much smaller size. It’s a different design, but once it comes in, I will upload it.

 Just a short bit ago I got a box from Upper Playground with some prints I did with them. There is about 20 in total which is rad. I’m stoked on how they turned out, however, as the ‘typical’ designer, I wish i did something else. But then again, still nice. If you are interested in one, I posted them up at Legacy of Defeat.

Hydro74 recently had the pleasure of working on some art for the 1/1 , Ladainian “LT” Tomlinson x Nike Innovative Kitchen Air Force 1. They turned out fantastic. Holy Shit!!! Just checking out Hype Beast today and saw the new LT Air Force 1’s that I had the pleasure of working on. Pretty much anything that is etched in and new sewn in is a Hydro74 Creation. Big up’s to Jason over at Nike for what he did with the art! Damn…very sick!

Twiki is fresh from my memory as a child. I use to have his toys, had the Buck Rogers action figure set, sans the girls.. What 6 year old would want girl action figures.. except the pink girl in G-Force and Voltron… she was hot, but i digress. So with that said, I am paying my respects to the greatest midget robot with a computer necklace who seems to be smarter than Twiki at times. But still, Hawk was still a badass mean guy with a Flash Gordon esq style to him. I am talking a lot of geek talk, but someone will know what I’m talking about!

Revolt Marketing contacted me recently to produce a silk screen print for both Ladytron & Scion. It turned out pretty nice, besides, gave me a reason to draw up Twiki! Revolt will be sending me a stack of these bad boys, so i’ll have a few available for anyone who wants them.

Just today, I had a meeting with Mark over at Publix, which is a larger grocery chain. We were talking about some typography that needs to be sorted out for some upcoming projects, but also brought samples in of the Ice Cream Box I did up. There were a few minor changes, but over all, Mark did a great job with his insight and creative direction. This was a interesting project since there had to be this balance between something the consumer would be into, but still had a slight progressive flair. I know I’m stoked because now when I go shopping, I can head over to the Ice Cream section and be stoked to see it.

Also, big thank you to Alex over at Island/Def Jam for the box of CD’s. When I got home a box jammed pack of cd’s were waiting for me. Super stoked. I honestly love days when packages come in the mail.

Just got the Pale Horse, 2nd Coming book in. It looks fantastic. If you haven’t had a chance to order it, go over to Pale Horse and order one. Chris Parks put a lot of effort into getting this book done as well as the various promo events.

Here is a new print I’m thinking of sending over to get silk screened up. I think my goal is to create a set of different, bold asian influenced pieces, may it be samurai, demons, Steve Aoki, ..well, not Steve, but still. So not sure. I”ll decide here shortly. As you can tell, being a little indecisive. Also, so you know, the Samurai of Death print is down to the last few. I was expecting them to collect dust… So thank you to those who got it.
